We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate this section.
5. Intellectual Property
Our IP: The APIlot platform, its UI, trademarks, and underlying systems are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Generated code: The integration code generated by the Service for your use belongs to you. You are responsible for reviewing it before deploying to production and for ensuring it complies with the terms of the APIs you integrate.
Your data: You retain ownership of any data, prompts, or content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to deliver the Service.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party APIs and deployment platforms (GitHub, Replit, Lovable, Stripe, etc.). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
API credentials and secrets you provide are stored encrypted and used only to execute the integrations you request.
7. Payments and Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Polar. By subscribing, you agree to Polar's terms of service.
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial periods. If you experience a billing issue, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days.
- Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Generated code is free of defects or suitable for any specific purpose
- Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless APIlot and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to us, other users, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections 5, 8, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice via email or an in-app banner before the new terms take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which APIlot is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at [email protected]. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration, except where prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence (including EU consumer rights).
